Frances draws from a deep well of diverse career and life experience to manage the clerical details for our clients at Reno Type. She taught at Sky Tavern Preschool before joining as manager a media group in Salt Lake City. While in Utah, she discovered a passion for genealogy and research, even discovering the grave of her 3rd great grandfather in upstate New York. Eventually she landed a position with Gannett at the Reno Gazette Journal. She moved back to Reno to be closer to her family.
She first moved to Reno from Idaho in first grade and attended high school in Sparks. Some of her all-time favorite memories are rafting and fishing on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with her dad on a restored cabin cruiser.
What makes Frances the Reno Type?
From the wineries of Napa Valley to Zion National Park in Utah to the rivers of Idaho, Frances makes sure she’s living a life she loves. But “I wanted to come home” she explains about returning to Reno. Reno is also the perfect travel hub for her newest hobby documenting old cemeteries of Nevada, traveling to small towns in Eastern Nevada to photograph their history.
