After studying at Mt Royal in Calgary and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, he honed his customer service and management skills working in the hospitality industry, owning and operating several restaurants and bars in Canada. As a sales consultant, he worked with boutique spirits, wineries, and microbreweries in California.

What makes Nic the Reno Type?
Possibly the mountain skyline of Reno, NV, lured him away from California. His hobbies mostly involve two wheels, with motors and without. His main ride is an Italian motorcycle, and he has always been a cyclist, on road, gravel, and dirt. “I've always appreciated the dichotomy of the small town feel with big city amenities; the pizza scene is hugely underrated and newly discovered as is the coffee culture (a couple of my loves).”
