Shay Dennis would be the first to call herself an energetic extrovert. In her work, she is perceptive and employs powerful listening skills. It seems she has found the right niche as Customer Service Representative at Reno Type to practice these super powers, having developed her expertise through years of experience in the banking and printing industries.
Born in the Bay Area, she lived in Miami, FL before moving to Reno twelve or so years ago. She loves the outside spaces, living near trailheads so she can get out in nature. “One of our favorite things to do is meander towards Midtown Reno and randomly find a new restaurant or bar to explore.” Her standards are high when she goes out to eat, since as a foodie, she also cooks “everything”. Preparing Chicken Shawarma, among other Indian/Mediterranean recipes, is her latest personal challenge. She’s got a knack for names, too: her six-pound Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound pup is called Voldy (can you guess who he is named after?) and her three elderly cats are Jinx, Dulce de Leche DD, and Kitkat.
