Frequently asked questions
-
Can I still work with the same people?
- Yup. Marci is on the team, and her Registered Ink email will forward to her new email address Marci@RenoType.com. Phone calls to the number you have saved for Registered Ink will forward to her desk at Reno Type. You can also call (775) 852-8800 and ask for Marci.
-
What if Marci isn’t available?
- Now that Marci has a team of 18 folks to support her, you don’t HAVE to speak to her. Shay, Charles, Nick, Clay or Kurt are all ready to get the job done for you. And if the customer service and sales team is snowed under, you’ll get to talk to someone on the Production Management team. Alan and Davey are smart, hardworking, and dedicated to your success! Do let whoever you speak to know that you loved working with Registered Ink, and they’ll makes sure to loop Marci in so you get the product and price you are used to.
-
What about all my files and previous work?
- All files, dies, samples, records and the like are now on the ground at the Reno Type office. Everything Registered Ink held on your behalf is still available.
-
Will my pricing change?
- Reno Type will honor any contractual pricing through the end of the term of that contract, unless Reno Type’s pricing is lower, in which case you’ll pay that lower price. On ad-hoc projects we expect the pricing to be very similar. Some things may be slightly less expensive, some things might be slightly more expensive. Our goal is to not mess with your bottom line… so if you find a price that is out of line with your expectations, give us a call. We’ll discuss it, and make an adjustment if at all possible.
-
How do I send you work?
-
There’s a “file upload” link on the website.
You can send whatever you need via email if it’s of a size that permits that (sorry we can’t be more specific: it’s really a question of what your email provider allows). If you send it to a specific team member (like Marci, say) please CC work@renotype.com. That email address is monitored by the entire customer service staff, and sending things there will ensure your project gets seen right away.
Another option is to have us set up an on-line portal where you can manage inventory, make changes, see proofs and the like. We’ll need to do a needs assessment (a meeting) to understand your specific requirements before we can make that happen. Call and ask for Kurt or Marci to get that ball rolling.
-
How do invoices and payments work?
- Marci, Lynette, and the Reno Type customer service team will reach out to make sure we have the correct invoicing contacts and addresses. If you have credit terms with Registered Ink, you now have the same terms with Reno Type. We will ask you to sign a Reno Type credit agreement, but we won’t let that sort of thing hold up the completion of your work!

Where do I send mail?
- Please update your records to the Reno Type Address:
S. Rock Blvd, Suite C Reno, NV 89502 -
