Kai was born in Japan and moved to the states at age six; he’s been from place to place throughout his life but has lived in Sparks longer than anywhere else. He started here at Reno Type as a delivery driver, but after moving to the presses and doing some actual printing, he was finally able to put his graphic arts degree to use. As lead press operator, Kai makes use of his exceptional eye for quality and an impressive ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
