Digital? Offset? Inkjet? Most customers don't need to know—or care—which printing technology we use.
What matters is getting the result you want, on the paper you want, in the quantity you need, on time and at a price that makes sense.
Reno Type produces a broad range of commercial printing in-house using high-end digital equipment, supported by complete finishing and mailing capabilities. When a project is better suited to offset printing, specialty printing or equipment we don't operate ourselves, we work with trusted trade partners to get it done.
You don't have to choose the press. That's our job.
Digital Printing. Reno Type was an early adopter of digital printing. We installed Nevada's first digital press way back in 1997, and digital printing remains at the heart of our production operation. Today's digital presses produce exceptional color and allow us to print efficiently in quantities ranging from a handful of pieces to many thousands. Digital printing also makes possible variable data printing, personalized pieces, and extremely fast turnaround. We routinely produce Business cards • Brochures • Postcards • Booklets • Sales sheets • Rack cards • Menus • Invitations • Envelopes • Newsletters • Forms • Direct mail.
Reno Type no longer operates an offset press in-house, but we regularly manage offset printing through established trade printing partners. You still work with Reno Type: we determine the appropriate production method, manage the project and deliver the finished product.
If you come to us asking for offset printing, that's fine. If another production method will give you the same or better result faster or less expensively, we'll tell you that too.
Specialty Printing. No single printing company owns every kind of press. Our network of specialty and trade printing partners gives us access to production capabilities far beyond the equipment on our own floor, including unusual sizes, specialty stocks, coatings, finishes and high-volume production.
That means we're not limited to selling you what happens to fit our equipment.
If it can reasonably be printed, we'll figure out the right way to produce it.
Much of what happens after printing matters just as much as the printing itself.
Reno Type provides extensive in-house finishing and mailing capabilities, including cutting, folding, booklet making, binding, die cutting, addressing, inserting and postal preparation.
For direct mail projects, we can take a job from data and artwork through printing, finishing and into the mailstream.
