If you ask Lauren what is most important, she doesn’t hesitate. “My Kids. I’m a mom to three, and nothing is more important.” She’s a skilled artist working primarily with acrylics and in fact, teaches it to others weekly at Picasso and Wine in midtown. Three cats, Kitty Chloe, Greg, and Ocean, complete her household. At Reno Type, Lauren handles what we call “concierge” fulfillment: most of her time is dedicated to a small number of clients with mission-critical fulfillment and distribution needs. As does the whole team, she pitches in with whatever else is needed.
What makes Lauren the Reno type?
She was born and raised here, for one thing. Growing up she kinda didn’t like the place much. But once she discovered the outdoor activities around here – “Lake Tahoe & Davis Creek. Hiking. The trees and the sunsets,” she came around. She says that Reno Type itself is a great place to work, noting she “feels both valued and safe” here.
