Erwin began designing while working for his dad to support a family business. He’s been an artist his whole life, working with charcoal, pastel, acrylic and sketching in a journal. He brings these design skills to commercial work to make communication also visually appealing. In retail and sales before joining Reno Type he learned how to keep his cool under pressure and stay organized. As Lead Printer, he takes everything in production through design and onto paper.
But that’s not all. As a multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, base, piano, drums, cello/violin, and some ukelele. He also writes songs and performs with his band Young Philistine. Erwin will be a pinch hitter on the bowling team.
